Transfiguration Sunday is a time to consider the experience of Peter, James, and John when they were with Jesus on the mountain and Jesus' appearance was changed (transfigured) and God's glory shone through and these disciples caught a new glimpse of who Jesus really is. Moses and Elijah joined with Jesus on that occasion as they testify to Jesus identity.  The follow through is that because of Jesus' incarnation, death, and resurrection we can have a whole new identity and now, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we too are able to reflect the glory of God. While we are not God as Jesus is, yet Jesus can shine through us and bring glory to God. Reflecting God's Glory is Jesus' Way.
